Newsletter January 2018

Parents Evening

We are holding a parents evening to give you a chance to come into nursery and discuss your child’s progress and development.
To book an appointment please see your child’s key person.

If Amy or Jess is your child’s key person please book an appointment for Monday 19th March or Wednesday 21st March.

If Chloe, Hollie, Leah or Claire is your child’s key person please book an appointment for Monday 19th March.

If Sam, Kayleigh, Charlie or Hannah is your child’s key person please book an appointment for Wednesday 21st March.

Our Website

As some of you may now know our website is complete. Please take a look at this as we will be using this as a communication tool, our newsletters will go on there and different activities the children participate in will also go up on the website.

After a surprise visit last week from the local authority (Hinckley and Bosworth) to inspect our kitchen we have again achieved the top 5 star rating.

Reminders and important information

Can you all please make sure that you are sticking to your session times? Morning session is 8am-1pm and afternoon session is 1pm-5.30pm. If you are bringing your child is early you will be asked to stay and wait with your child if none of the morning children have gone home as we cannot be over our number of children that we are able to have.

A reminder that we are offering early drop off and late pick up sessions 7.30am-8.00am and 5.30pm-6.00pm - if you want to put your child’s name down for any of these and have not already done so please talk to a member of staff as these are only optional on a book in service. These times are available at an extra charge.

Can you please make sure that you are sending your children in with spare clothes, we do keep topping our spares up but we often do not get them back if we send a child home in them? This means your children have to wear some clothes that they are often unhappy with.

If you are receiving 30 hours funding can you please ensure you remember to reconfirm your codes when you are supposed to.

If your child has turned 3 this term and you think you may be eligible for 30 hours funding next term please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk and apply now.

Many thanks

Victoria and the girls.
